Is Mercedes-Benz Updating Their EQ Verbiage?

In short, it’s the fully-electric wing of Mercedes-Benz, committed to producing high-performance luxury EVs in all shapes and sizes. However, if sources are to be believed, it might not stay that way for long. While Mercedes-Benz will continue to produce a wide range of electric vehicles, they may not be produced under the Mercedes-EQ brand name any longer. According to Reuters, Mercedes-Benz has set the ambitious goal of having a fully-electric lineup by 2030, so an exclusive all-electric branch of the company would be unnecessary. The company has said that it’s too early to be making concrete decisions, but sources speculate that the Mercedes-EQ branding may be phased out as early as 2024.

Current Mercedes-EQ Models

Just because the Mercedes-EQ branding may be on its way out doesn’t mean that the current Mercedes-Benz EVs are going anywhere! There are currently five vehicles in the Mercedes-EQ lineup that you can find at Mercedes-Benz of Portland: EQB SUV, EQE Sedan, EQE SUV, EQS Sedan, and EQS SUV. Here are some details on each model:
