MBUX – A NEW USER EXPERIENCE

At Mercedes-Benz of Portland, we know that local drivers are looking for the latest tech in their luxury vehicles. From smartphone compatibility to Wi-Fi hotspots, you know that you’ll be able to find the most advanced features in our cars. Now, the Mercedes-Benz brand is working on an even more capable infotainment system. The MBUX just made its debut.

Soon you may be able to hop behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz SUV that comes equipped with artificial intelligence. This tech powers the Mercedes-Benz User Experience, or MBUX, and gives your vehicle a few capabilities that might surprise you. Instead of partnering with a company that has already created a voice assistant, the Mercedes-Benz brand has created one of its own. This assistant can be activated with a conveniently located button on the steering wheel or by the driver saying “Hey Mercedes.”

From there, it can give you directions or change to different music playlists, but that’s common these days. The MBUX differentiates itself by offering three-dimensional displays and features like augmented reality navigation. It can even help you travel to specific destinations with a unique three-word navigation capability.

Of course, this new digital assistant is designed to offer even better voice recognition tech as well. This new infotainment system will make its way to the Mercedes-Benz A-Class first, and then other vehicles will follow in the next few years. We can’t wait to see this new technology in action!

So when you’re looking for a luxury car that offers the latest technology, visit our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Portland, OR today. Our dealers will make it easy to find a car or crossover that comes equipped with the features you need. We hope to see you soon for a test drive!
